Margaret Tam

Margaret Tam brings over 20 years of experience providing leadership and strategic direction in business operations, such as human resources, finance, information technology, project and change management, business analysis, and risk and safety. She has worked in a variety of industries, including technology, banking, post-secondary education, healthcare, and non-profit. Margaret is a collaborative business leader who focuses on mobilizing and empowering people to achieve organizational goals and
vision.

Margaret is the Vice President, Operations at the Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation (RCHF) where she oversees human resources, finance, technology, donation management, research and innovation, partnerships, and risk management functions. Prior to her role at RCHF, Margaret was the Executive Director of Human Resources at Trinity Western University (TWU) overseeing the University-wide Human Resources function.

Margaret is a life-long learner and she holds Master of Business Administration, Master of Science, and Bachelor of Commerce degrees. She is certified as a Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR), Project Management Professional (PMP) and PROSCI certified change practitioner. In her free time, Margaret volunteers for professional associations and non-profit organizations to give back and make a difference for social impacts. She is passionate about music and serves as a worship leader in her local community. She also enjoys reading and travelling to relax and unwind.
